Pristine ProWash’s window cleaning process is not your traditional mop and squeegee window cleaning.
We use a pure water system with water-fed extension poles to wash your windows. This allows us to wash exterior windows with more efficiency and with more ease. These water-fed pole systems allow our technicians to wash windows from the ground, that normally would need ladders to reach them. This makes for a more safe process.
Upon Arrival
When our technicians arrive at your house for a window cleaning service, they will first check to make sure the screens are out of your windows. If you cannot remove them yourself we will ask that you unlock them and our technicians will assist with the removal.
If you have half screens that are not removable we will also ask you to unlock and slide them up slightly. This will allow our technicians to be able to slide the half screens as needed to clean the entire window.
Window Cleaning Process
Once all the screens have been removed from your windows the technicians will begin to unreel their hoses from their truck. They have a specific hose for any window cleaning job that pumps pure water from the truck. The hose is then attached to a water-fed pole that has a scrub pad and rinse bar at the top.
The technicians will use the water-fed pole to scrub each window and rinse with the pure water. If there is any hard to remove debris on your windows the technicians will use a 0000 rated steel wool to remove it. The 0000 steel wool does not scratch or harm the window in anyway, but does add a level or abrasion to help remove the debris.
Once the window has been scrubbed clean and steel wool used, if needed, the technician will do a final rinse of the window to clear any dirt left behind.
Excess Dirt?
Sometimes windows can have a large amount of dirt and debris on them, this will add another step to the window cleaning process. If our technicians arrive to wash your windows and this is the case they will use one of the pressure washing machines to rinse off the windows first, using low pressure, wipe them down with an extension brush, and then use the water-fed pole system to wash your windows. This added step, to the window cleaning process, helps us preserve our pure water tank and ensures the highest level of cleaning service.
Finishing Up
Once all the window cleaning process has been finished meaning, all windows have been cleaned, rinsed, and double checked for quality, the technicians will replace all of your screens, if applicable and pack up their water-fed poles.
