Upon arrival
Upon arriving for your patio cleaning service, our technicians will begin by assessing your patio for any damages or problem areas. Each patio is different in terms of age, decay, and dirtiness. Before the technicians begin the patio cleaning process they will need to be aware of the condition of your patio.
Much like all of our cleaning processes at Pristine ProWash, the technicians will hook their truck up to your water spigot. Each patio cleaning can take varying amounts of water depending on a number of factors:
- Size of patio
- Amount of growth on the patio
- Amount of staining on the patio
Valuables?
When your patio cleaning is scheduled we, at Pristine ProWash, will ask for you to remove any valuables off of your patio. This allows for a smoother patio cleaning process and ensures nothing of yours could become damaged.
We do understand, however, that some may not be able to move some items themselves. If this is the case our technicians have no problem helping you move items off of your patio cleaning.
The Patio Cleaning Process
Once our technicians have assessed the conditions of your patio, hooked up to water, and, if necessary, moved items off of your patio it is time to begin the patio cleaning process.
The first step to the patio cleaning process is to apply the algaecide. The algaecide will begin to kill any moss or algae growth on your patio. The technicians will allow time for the algaecide to dwell before starting the next step, five to ten minutes.
Secondly in the patio cleaning process, our technicians will use a self-containing surface cleaner to clean your patio. These surface-cleaners have two jets that spin around cleaning in an even circular motion. The technicians will walk the surface-cleaner around the patio until they have cleaned its entirety.
Due to the circular cleaning area of the surface-cleaners, sometimes a technician may need to use a high pressure nozzle to clean inside corners or edges.
Once the technicians have surface-cleaned your patio, they will use their pressure washers, using a low pressure setting to rinse the patio. Oftentimes the technicians will have to hit parts of the patio a second time because of stubborn stains or missed spots. After this rinse, and possible second surface cleaning, the technicians will begin the final step in the patio cleaning process.
The final step to the patio cleaning process is, a final rinse of the patio and removal of any puddles on the patio. Although it is almost impossible to remove all puddles from your patio, the technicians will make sure that not only will there be no debris left on your patio, but there will also be no large amounts of standing water left on your patio.
It is important to note that if your patio is around your pool, our technicians will make sure they do not rinse debris into your pool. If any debris does end up in your pool our technicians will skim your pool before leaving.
Time to Pack up
Upon finishing the final step in the patio cleaning process, doing a final rinse of the patio, our technicians will begin to pack up their equipment. They will unhook from your water spigot, reel in their hoses, and retrieve their surface-cleaners. If they moved anything off the patio they will put everything back to where it was when they arrived. Off they go to the next job. And now it is time for you to enjoy your beautifully cleaned patio.
